My first

I felt so happy when I read Angelyn's post. :)
Haha! It's that kind of feeling where you just feel so happy knowing that God truly loves you so much.

Hmm, just felt like sharing my "first" with God with you guys. :P

It wasn't anything spectacular... but it's a moment I will never forget, nor will anything beat that feeling.

And the weirdest thing is that it just happened for no apparent reason (not anything I could remember). :P

So... I was just lying there on my bed falling asleep... when I suddenly felt this overwhelming peace and joy so strongly that I just could not but help smile to myself (like a cheshire cat; actually grinning broadly was more like it). Haha! Thankfully it happened in the comfort of darkness and quietness else Hyii would be asking why I'm grinning to myself for no apparent reason at all. :P

I felt that... God loves me sooooooooo much that I just couldn't help loving Him back. :):):) His presence was so real, so strong, so... "there". :P

You can always dispute over matters such as the grace messages, you can always dispute over how Pastor preaches, you can even say I'm the lousiest cg leader and disagree over the stuff I say...

But you cannot... cannot ever deny that being in love with God gives the deepest sense of inner peace, or the overflowing joy, or the fullness - just that feeling that your heart's going to keep expanding and expanding - haha! I don't know how to describe it, but it just makes one very very very happy. :D Only God's love, I believe, can make one feel that way... because only His love can satisfy, only His love is perfect.

It is interesting to sometimes find that God is speaking to you through His words - his timely words of wisdom, which shows His ever-present work in your life. :)

So yea, that's my "first". :P
Hope you guys are encouraged to find your own gems in the bible - big ones, little ones - and add that to our collection here. :D Cool yea?
